How to Setup the Yoast SEO Plugin

My friend, Jennifer Snyder of reached out the other day and asked if I had an article about how to setup the Yoast SEO plugin and as coincidence would have it I am working on a hefty post about SEO or Search Engine Optimization in general and it was going to include a section on Yoast.  I decided that I would write up my how to for Yoast SEO  and provide a how to now, rather than wait for my SEO post to get published.

This article will cover why you want to be using Yoast SEO on your WordPress website and I will also cover the basics of getting your Yoast SEO plugin set up as well.  I’ll even touch on those pesky red, yellow, and green circles and how important they are, if at all. This article will not be covering the basics of SEO, but will focus on how to setup and use the Yoast SEO plugin effectively.
