How to Setup the Yoast SEO Plugin

My friend, Jennifer Snyder of WomenWinningOnline.com reached out the other day and asked if I had an article about how to setup the Yoast SEO plugin and as coincidence would have it I am working on a hefty post about SEO or Search Engine Optimization in general and it was going to include a section on Yoast.  I decided that I would write up my how to for Yoast SEO  and provide a how to now, rather than wait for my SEO post to get published.

This article will cover why you want to be using Yoast SEO on your WordPress website and I will also cover the basics of getting your Yoast SEO plugin set up as well.  I’ll even touch on those pesky red, yellow, and green circles and how important they are, if at all. This article will not be covering the basics of SEO, but will focus on how to setup and use the Yoast SEO plugin effectively.

WordPress vs Wix? Which Is Best For Your Website.

EVERY DAY, yes every day while I’m networking online I see a question similar to this…

Why WordPress over Wix? I am a beginner blogger and find WIX easier to use than WordPress (I did fool around with WordPress at first). However, as a beginner I’m not opposed to switching over to WordPress if its as inexpensive and easy to use. So what makes it better?

I see some variation of this question asked a lot in the different blogging Facebook Groups and thought it a good time to address it here.

Why Choosing WordPress or WIX Matters

The simple answer is, if you want to create a lifestyle business that supports your choice on how you want to live then you need a platform that’s going to support that dream.  I’ll touch on the different platforms a bit later in this article.

ConvertKit Review: From Mailerlite to ConvertKit

I’ve been all over the place when it comes to the different email marketing services I’ve used.  Today, I’m sharing my story of why I moved to ConvertKit. I started my online business journey in 2006, officially though it was 2008.  Doesn’t really matter much though since that’s a hell of a long time in the internet world to be working online.

To say I’ve seen it all in terms of internet marketing might be a bit of an exaggeration but I really have seen a lot of techniques and tactics that have been used by many online entrepreneurs.

While I could easily write a whole article about the different techniques that have been used by a lot of on line experts, one thing I’ve become pretty good at is the quickly identifying the icky feeling ones.  The ones where they use a lot of color and splash to convince you to sign up for the amazing “tool or technique” that they spent 100s of thousands on to develop and test, but for TODAY only you can get it for free by just giving up your email address.
